Does this API use JWT or OAuth?

Authentication uses static client credentials passed as x-client-id and x-client-secretheaders on every request. There is no token exchange or OAuth authorization flow.

How do I get API credentials?

Credentials are provisioned by Trudenty during partner onboarding. Contact your Trudenty account representative.

What is a consumer_id?

A consumer_idis the unique identifier for a consumer in the Trudenty network. Your integration team will receive guidance on how Consumer IDs are supplied to your application.

What does no_network_record mean?

It means no Consumer Trust Index record was found for the supplied consumer_id. This is returned with HTTP 404 on the latest CTI endpoint.

Does the history endpoint return 404 when there are no records?

No. The history endpoint returns 200 OKwith an empty consumer_trust_index_historyarray and pagination.totalset to 0.

What are the trust band values?

Trust bands are returned as human-readable strings: High Trust, Medium Trust, or Low Trust.

What format is predicted_fraud_probability?

The value is returned as a percentage string, for example "12%". It is rounded to the nearest whole percentage.

Why do some error responses use requestId instead of request_id?

Some validation error responses return the correlation ID as requestIdin the JSON body. Always prefer the X-Request-IDresponse header as the canonical correlation ID.

Is there a rate limit?

Yes. The API allows 500requests per minute per IP address. Exceeding this limit returns HTTP 429.
